Steps to Adult Graduation
Step 1 - Discover what you need.
Check out the Ministry of Education's Adult Graduation Program Web site or contact one of LearnNowBC's academic advisors by phone or email: 1-888-412-5622 ext.2 or academic_advising@learnnowbc.ca
Step 2 - Find the courses you need.
Search or Browse the over 2500 courses listed. You can also find a Distributed Learning school near you.
Step 3 - Request more information on the course.
When you find a course you're interested in, contact the school (by phone or email) and ask any questions you may have. This is a great way to get a flavour of how the school delivers their courses, and the types of expectations they have of you when completing the course requirements. Be sure to confirm the start dates, duration, pacing and availability of the course.
Step 4 - Enroll in your course(s).
When you've found the course and school you want, enter your phone number in the space provided on the course details page and press the "Request the Course" button. The school should contact you by email within 2 business days. If you have not heard from the school, contact the school directly using the contact information in the confirmation email you will have received. When you are in contact with the school, the school will gather the required information and then enroll you in the course. If you do not have a Personal Education Number (PEN), the school will obtain one for you.
Step 5 - Complete the course requirements.
Work hard, study, learn and enjoy yourself. When you have completed all of the course requirements, the "school of record" will send your transcript to the Ministry of Education and your diploma will be mailed to you.
