The LearnNowBC Learning Resource Repository (LRR) contains hundreds of free Learning Objects. Many of these Objects have been specifically developed for use in the LRR, and some have been developed and generously contributed by professional educators in BC.

A Learning Object is a self-contained, reusable unit of learning. Examples of the types of objects in the Repository are: videos, online activities, audio clips, documents, photographs and illustrations, and many others. Click to see a sample Learning Object. These Objects can be used on their own to support a specific unit of learning, or they can be combined to create a more comprehensive activity to supplement an online or classroom course.

The Objects have been given descriptions and are organized based on the “Learning Outcomes” that each object supports. For more information on the BC Curriculum and the Prescribed Learning Outcomes, please visit the Ministry of Education Web site.
